Product must be delivered by the primary contractor 72 hours prior to installation. Please leave in their unopened cartons in the room where product is to be installed.
Electric and heat must be on 72 hours prior to installation.
Basic installation includes matching transitions (labor only).
Includes standard floor preparations (minor scraping, sweeping and patching).
Preparation of a severely damaged floor will be on an estimate only basis to be determined at the time of measure.

Moving basic furniture. Not to include moving large breakable furniture, glass, electronic equipment, antiques, or collectibles.
We will not move any electronic equipment with the exception of a standard electronic oven/stove appliance.
Basic installation will not include undercutting around finished stair systems, including stringers and posts.
Interior, Bi-fold and pocket doors will be cut on an estimate only basis and will be determined at time of measure.
We will not cut any exterior doors unless determined at time of estimate.
No work will take place on Sunday or legal holidays.
Upon faxed receipt of measure order and/or install order, the installer will contact the customer within two business days to schedule appointment.
The customer must be present when the installer is in the home.
The customer must agree to refrain from using the new floor for 12 hours after the installation.
Removal of scrap material or its original packaging is not available. We will gladly bag it and place it at the curb for the customer.
Laminate floors swell at the seams immediately after installation. This is a natural reaction of the introduction of adhesive to the product and is a good indication enough adhesive was used during the installation. The swelling will go down within six to eight weeks depending on ambient humidity.
No installations will take place over concrete without the manufactures recommended vapor barrier. We cannot substitute the use of plastic drop cloths, or any other material that is not product specific.  Under no circumstances will a substitution be made even with a signed waver of liability from the homeowner and or the primary contractor.

Primary contractor must agree to all installation guidelines before any installations can begin. We realize special circumstances arise from time to time, which may make an installation impossible to take place without bending a guideline or two. These special circumstances will be handled on a case by case basis. However; we will accept no liability for damage or injury as a result of this and the customer as well as the primary contractor must sign a waver of liability before any of the above mentioned tasks are preformed

Our pledge to you, the primary contractor
We will arrive prompt, neat, and clean. No radio will be played in the customer’s home. We will conduct ourselves in a manner becoming to the primary contractor. All employees of Goodwood must ask the customer before using bathroom facilities. The installer will use no profanity or make disparaging comments to customer concerning the primary contractor. All referrals will become the property of the primary contractor and/or Goodwoodfloors.
